This is my garden. Surprised? Most people are when I tell them what I do but truth is, because talking and writing about gardening is my job, I rarely feel like doing anything to my own garden on my days off. Truth is, this is my back garden and I always sit at the front.
You can probably see what's left over from all the landscaping jobs I did, hidden underneath the long grass and there's a load of random building materials stacked up against the wall.
I have to say, leaving it like this creates a haven for wildlife and lots of hiding places for mice and birds and I do kind of like when it's all overgrown like this.
I am going to get around to re-designing it soon - if only for the sake of my neighbours! There's actually some nice plants in there - especially the perennials. All I have to do now is seperate them from the weeds.
